Day 1 – Arrival in Oslo
Welcome to the fabulous capital of Norway – Oslo! Upon arrival, you will be met by your Sky Vacations ambassador, who will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to start exploring the magnificent city center on your own.
Day 2 – Explore Oslo
After breakfast, meet your private guide at the hotel lobby and depart on a guided city tour of the magnificent Norwegian capital. Begin with a visit to one of the major Scandinavian treasures – the famous Frogner Park. Spend time strolling through this beautiful park and enjoying its extravagant sculptures. You’ll also visit the Norwegian Folk Museum and the Fram Museum. After your tour, enjoy the balance of the day at leisure.
Day 3 – Travel to Flam
Following breakfast, walk to the train station (or, if you prefer, we can arrange assistance at an additional cost) for your train to Flam. Your journey (approx. 6 hours) will take you through some of the most beautiful scenery in Norway. Upon arrival in Flam, you’ll be met by your Sky Vacations ambassador and transferred to your hotel. This evening, you’ll visit a traditional brewery and pub to enjoy a “Viking plank.” This 5 course food tasting is served with 5 different beers, the perfect complement to this delicious meal.
Day 4 – Travel to Balestrand
After breakfast, the rest of the morning is at leisure to enjoy beautiful Flam. In the afternoon, walk to the pier (we can arrange assistance at an additional cost) for an express boat ride to the charming town of Balestrand, which is set in a truly magical location near Norway’s largest fjord – Sognefjord. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the village.
Day 5 – Travel to Geiranger
This morning, your driver/guide will take you on an unforgettable journey to one of the world’s most famous glaciers – Briksdal Glacier. Surrounded by the roaring waterfalls, stunning valleys and mighty mountains, it offers one of the most awe-inspiring views in Europe. During the trip, you also enjoy lunch on your own at a local café. Arrive at Geiranger Village located near the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord, one of the most-visited tourist attractions in Norway. Upon arrival, check in to your remarkable hotel with magnificent fjord views and enjoy a traditional dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Day 6 – Travel to Alesund
After breakfast, you have the morning free to relax at your hotel or explore the charming village of Geiranger on your own. Near the hotel, you can enjoy the Fossevandring cascading waterfall from the top, take the stairs down to the pier to see the whole power of the falls, or visit the Norwegian Fjord Center. In the afternoon, your driver will transfer you to the port where you board a boat to enjoy a fantastic Geirangerfjord cruise to Alesund, which provides you with the unique chance to admire spectacular Norwegian scenery and mind-boggling fjords. Upon arrival in Alesund, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and the balance of the day is at your leisure.
Day 7 – Travel to Bergen
Following breakfast, meet your private guide for a wonderful 3-hour walking tour. The town was completely rebuilt after the 1904 fire of Alesund and is now a wonderful example of Art Nouveau architecture. During the tour, see Alesund Church and the Alesund Park, the Town Hall, and many other outstanding attractions of the town. After the tour, return to your hotel where your private driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Bergen. Upon arrival in Bergen, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 8 – Explore Bergen
Following breakfast, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and enjoy a 3-hour walking city tour around the most interesting sights of Bergen. During the tour, see the famous Bryggen district, visit local markets, and experience a fantastic Floibanen Funicular ride, one of Norway’s best-known attractions. After the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest the day at leisure.
Day 9 – Travel to Iceland
This morning, your driver will meet you for your private transfer to the airport and your flight to Iceland. Welcome to Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Your Sky Vacations ambassador will meet you at the arrivals hall and transfer you to your modern hotel in the heart of the city. The rest of the day is yours to explore and unwind.
Day 10 – Reykjavik & The Blue Lagoon
After breakfast, meet your guide/driver in the hotel lobby for an amazing city tour to the most significant places in Reykjavik. During your tour, stop by the official residence of the President of Iceland called Bessastadir, and stop in Hafnarfjörður – a charming port town. Proceed to the futuristic Perlan Dome, from which you can see spectacular views of Reykjavik and its surroundings. Then it’s on to the Hallgrimskirkja Church, the tallest building in Iceland, where you have a chance to walk up the stairs to see the view of the city center (entrance tickets are not included). After a break for lunch, your driver will transfer you to the geothermal spa Blue Lagoon, which is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. During your visit, soak up the Northern Sun (weather permitting) while relaxing in warm geothermal seawater surrounded by a surreal lava field. After this unique experience, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel to have the evening at leisure.
Day 11 – Reykjavik & The Golden Circle
This morning, join a fascinating small group tour around the Golden Circle. The first highlight of your day trip is visiting the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site – Thingvellir National Park. The national pride of the country, the Thingvellir National Park where the oldest existing parliament in the world (first assembled in 930 AD) is set. The area also features the largest natural lake in Iceland – Thingvallavatn, surrounded by lava flows and lush vegetation. Then, discover the picturesque Gullfoss – one of the most beautiful and popular waterfalls in Iceland. Your next stop is the Geysir area scattered with hot springs, mud pools and geysers, including the famous geyser Strokkur – the world´s most active. After your exciting tour, return to your Reykjavik hotel.
Day 12 – Departure from Reykjavik
Today your driver will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey.
