Day 1: Arrival in Madeira
Welcome to Madeira! Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your Sky Vacations ambassador who will transfer you to your hotel. This afternoon, visit the Funchal Sacred Art Museum, where you will take a short tour before enjoying a private wine tasting in front of one of the works and with a stunning view of Funchal. After the tasting, see the island in an unique way via motorcycle sidecar and feel the ocean breeze. End the day by exploring the picturesque fishing village of Camara de Lobos by sidecar, known for its colorful houses and incredible views.
Day 2: Sailboat Day
Embark on a day trip aboard a private sailboat. Sail along the gorgeous south coast of Madeira, see the bay of Capo Girao, and maybe even spot some dolphins and whales. Take a dip in the mild waters of the Atlantic and enjoy snacks and wine onboard.
Day 3: Wine Tasting
Start the day by visiting several towns and taking the scenic route, stopping in Camara de Lobos and the Boca dos Namorados viewpoint to see incredible landscapes. Traverse the lush Laurissilva forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and arrive at Vinhas do Tico. Here, you will take in the beautiful vineyards while enjoying a local wine tasting and a picnic lunch. Finally, visit the Porto Moniz Natural Pools, a remarkable volcanic formation filled with crystal-clear sea water.
Day 4: Departure
Today, transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
