November 29, 2026 – Arrival in Vienna

Upon arrival in Vienna, the group will be transferred by private coach to the hotel. The afternoon we’ll meet for a walking tour of the city through the historic center. Afterwards, our first highlight of the trip will be the famous Christmas market at Rathausplatz, set in front of the impressive City Hall. This market is one of the largest and most iconic in Europe, with beautifully decorated stalls, festive lights, and the unmistakable scent of mulled wine and traditional sweets. It is the perfect way to begin our journey and immediately step into the Christmas atmosphere.

November 30 – Vienna

The day begins with a visit to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Austria’s most important cultural landmarks. A refined Christmas market takes place in the palace courtyard, offering a more elegant and relaxed atmosphere compared to the main markets in the city center.

In the afternoon, we return to the city center to explore the area around Stephansplatz, where a smaller yet very charming Christmas market is set up near St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Our day concludes with a visit to the Christmas market at Belvedere Palace, widely considered one of the most romantic in the city, thanks to its stunning Baroque setting and atmospheric lighting. Group dinner at a traditional restaurant.

December 1 – Vienna to Salzburg

Today, the group will depart from Vienna by coach to visit Stift Klosterneuburg, one of Austria’s oldest and most important monasteries, founded in 1114, for a guided visit of the abbey, including its impressive Baroque architecture and the famous Verdun Altar. Following our visit, we’ll enjoy a wine tasting experience in the historic cellars of the monastery, renowned for their centuries-old winemaking tradition. In the early afternoon, the journey continues with a scenic coach transfer to Salzburg, crossing beautiful Austrian landscapes. Arrival in Salzburg in the late afternoon and check-in at our hotel.

December 2 – Salzburg

After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a walking tour of the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its baroque architecture and alpine charm. The group will also visit Mozart’s House. After lunch, we can see the main Christmas market, which is located between Domplatz and Residenzplatz, where traditional wooden stalls are set against the backdrop of the cathedral and surrounding historic buildings. The atmosphere here is particularly authentic and intimate. If time allows, a visit to the Hohensalzburg Fortress (optional) offers breathtaking views over the city.

December 3 – Innsbruck to Munich

Our itinerary continues into Germany with a comfortable coach transfer to Munich. After arrival, we’ll head to the heart of the city, where the main Christmas market takes place in Marienplatz. This is a classic Bavarian market, dominated by a large Christmas tree and surrounded by historic buildings. The evening will be enriched with dinner in a traditional beer hall, where local culture and cuisine create a warm and lively atmosphere.

December 4 – Munich

After a walking tour of the city center, the day is dedicated to discovering Munich’s variety of Christmas markets. Our group will explore how, beyond the main square, the city offers several themed markets, each with its own unique identity. Particularly noteworthy is the medieval market at Wittelsbacherplatz, where we’ll experience a historical atmosphere with period costumes and traditional crafts. Another interesting stop is the market near Sendlinger Tor, which has a more local and less crowded feel.

December 5 – Excursion to Nuremberg

A short coach journey leads us to Nuremberg, home to one of the most famous Christmas markets in the world. The Christkindlesmarkt takes place in Hauptmarkt, the central square, and is renowned for its long-standing traditions and festive atmosphere. The market features a wide array of stalls selling handcrafted goods and regional specialties. Our group will enjoy  lunch at a traditional restaurant followed by time to explore the medieval old town and walk up to the Imperial Castle of Nuremberg, which offers impressive views over the city. In the evening, we return to Munich.
