Day 1: Welcome to Cuba
After leaving the plane you will be met by your Sky Vacations ambassador who will guide you through customs in to the VIP lounge. Post baggage collection you will be transfered to your hotel Melia Cohiba located in center of Havana. Upon check in, your private concierge will go through your itinerary with you.The balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 2: City tour of Havana
After breakfast at your hotel, proceed to a cigar factory tour in Havana. Admire the skill with which the experts ‘torcedores’ hand-roll famous Montecristos and Cohiba cigars at one of Havanas oldest cigar factories. Continue to explore Havana’s colonial past visiting the four key squares of Old Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Francisco de Asis, Plaza Vieja, and the Plaza de la Cathedral along the way. Your suggested restaurant for lunch this afternoon is El del Frente, famous for ceviches, tacos and tatakis. This afternoon, enjoy a tour of the city in an open-top vintage car taking in all the main sites including the Havana Almendares forest, Cristobal Colon Cemetery, hotels National and Riviera.
Day 3: Day trip to Viñales
The trip begins with trekking to Los Acuaticos (the Water People). This trek is named after the local traditions of a small number of residents that live in the Vinales Valley and believe in the healing properties of water. Along this trek, you will see the dramatic landscape of this stunning natural area declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1999. The valley was once filled with limestone karsts which have since eroded away, leaving in its place the rounded Mogote hills that have become the distinctive natural symbols of this area. The rich red earth of the Vinales countryside is also home to the local farming population who lovingly tend the surrounding landscape to grow the tobacco crops from which Cubas world-famous cigars are made. Enjoy your lunch before returning to Havana.
Day 4: City tour of Havana
This morning, accompanied by our expert guide you will visit two Cuban artists studios. Get behind the facade and interact with this thriving artistic community according to your interests, Photography, Sculpture or Painting? Specify whether you would like to see well known or up and coming artists. After you will visit the Museo de Bellas Artes. Optional lunch suggestion is for Cinco Sentidos, well known for its seafood and great wine list. This evening, its time to spruce your bartending skills with a cocktail making class – From Cuban mojitos to Brazilian caipirinhas, this is a fun opportunity to brush up on your mixing skills with our brilliant star bartender at a funky restaurant in Old Havana..

Our expert guide takes you on a unique bespoke shopping tour to the best local artisans. Crafts include everything from delicate handmade lace napkins to Artex kitchen products printed with artwork from famous Cuban artists.
