Day 1
Upon arrival at Kastrup airport, your transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, your local guide will meet you for a walking tour that will take you through the heart of Copenhagen, a charming neighborhood with beautiful canals, cobblestone streets and historic buildings dating back to the 12th century. You’ll also stroll through Nyhavn, a 17th-century waterfront, canal, and entertainment district. You will see the royal residency, Amalienborg Castle. Besides admiring the Queen’s palace from the outside, you’ll also see the iconic Danish Royal Life Guards guarding the palace. Nearby lies Rosenborg Castle, which features 400 years of royal art treasures, including the Crown Jewels. Your guide will also take you down Strøget, one of Europe’s longest pedestrian streets filled with designer shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafes.
Day 3
After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your guide for the day. On this tour, your private driver and local guide will take you through beautiful North Zealand, visiting some of Denmark’s most beloved and famous landmarks. Your first destination is Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød. This elegant Dutch Renaissance structure serves as the National Museum of History and is best known for its outstanding collection of portraits. Not far from here, you’ll make a brief stop at the Royal Family’s summer residence, Fredensborg Palace. Heading further north through the picturesque countryside, you’ll reach the town of Elsinore. Here you’ll find Kronborg Castle, a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site and the setting for William Shakespeare’s infamous play, Hamlet. Continuing back towards Copenhagen, you’ll drive along the coastal road. Also known as the Danish Rivera, the coastal road provides a lovely view of the sea between Denmark and Sweden, as well taking you through some very lavish residential areas.
Day 4
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to two beautiful locations just outside Copenhagen: Roskilde and Dragør. Roskilde is an old charming city dating back from the Viking age and is located approximately 30 minutes outside of Copenhagen. Due to its central location in the kingdom, Roskilde was one of Denmark’s most important cities with the fjord providing the link to the outside world. Nowadays, Roskilde is known for its Viking Ship museum, its cathedral, the famous “Roskilde Music Festival” and much more. Rock, Vikings and UNESCO world heritage await for you in Roskilde! The idyllic fishing village Dragør, only 30 minutes from Copenhagen, is a perfect, relaxed day-trip destination. Here you can stroll through the cute cobblestoned streets of colorful houses and enjoy the genuine harborside “hygge”. Dragør was originally founded by fishermen in the 1300’s. Today, the village has several small shops, a picturesque harbour as well as restaurants and cafés with cozy atmospheres.
Day 5
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a boat tour that will take you around the historic canals of the old city center. You’ll see main attractions such as Amalienborg Castle, The Opera House, and the charming canals of Christianshavn and Frederiksholm. The boats hold up to 12 people, which means you’ll have an intimate experience, be able to chat with the captain, and ask all the questions you want. Cushioned seats and relaxed background music let you enjoy the ride in comfortable surroundings, and with drinks available for purchase on board, you’ll be all set for an hour of canal cruising. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 6
