Day 1: Arrival, Cairo Egypt
Arrive in Cairo to discover the contrasts of this ancient city. Your Sky Vacations ambassador will meet and assist you with your Egyptian entry visa, and then accompany you to your hotel hotel for check in. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Cairo.
Day 2: Ancient Cairo Tour
After breakfast meet your private Egyptologist guide will take you to Sakkara. Later you will be transferred to Memphis, the ancient Capital of Egypt to visit the colossal statue of Ramses II and nearby a still half-buried Hathor Temple. Lunch is included followed by a drive to the famous Giza Plateau, home of Egypt’s greatest attractions – The Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos and The mysterious Sphinx. Great shopping opportunity available with your guide and driver through the famous Bazaars later on you will be transferred back to your hotel for some leisurely free time and overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: City Sights of Cairo / Sleeper Train to Luxor
Begin your day with your private Egyptologist tour guide to visit the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiques that was built in neo-classical style which exhibits a collection now over 120000 masterpieces. Then you will also visit the Citadel of Saladin that is overlooking the city and Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside that was built in Turkish style and very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey and simply considered to be one of the landmarks in Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of old Cairo. Lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant and then drive to Coptic Part of Cairo to visit the Hanging church. Transfer to Giza railway station to catch the sleeper train to Luxor with dinner and overnight stay aboard train.
Day 4: Luxor / Nile Cruise Tour
Enjoy breakfast aboard the train before arriving Luxor to visit Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built. Then you will be transferred to the majestic Luxor temple which built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun. After some free shopping time, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise ship in Luxor for embarkation with lunch afternoon tea, dinner and overnight stay in Luxor aboard Nile cruise.
Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Tour
Breakfast onboard the Nile cruise in Luxor, and then you will be accompanied by your expert guide and driver to enjoy a visit to the West Bank of the river Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and then visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs discovered. Transfer by a horse drawn carriage to visit the famous Edfu temple also known as the temple of Horus & Haroeris, the falcon-headed solar War God is the largest and most perfectly preserved of all the Nile temples, back to the Nile cruise by the same way to sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple the crocodile-headed God of fertility and creator of the world and then return to your Nile cruise vessel to take a relaxing sail to Aswan with lunch, afternoon tea and dinner aboard your cruise and an overnight stay
Day 7: River Nile Cruise Tours
